this dream couldn't have been that long

i went to bed tonight at 11ish woke up at exactly 1138 with this in my fucking head.

it was written fresh from memory to a friend in an email format. i have copied and pasted, no editing done. oh and if anyone is keen on helping me analyze, i would be down for that. :-)


i know that we lived in the same kind of building together, apartment
but it was more like rooming house.

i got home late from work and came to say hi to you and we chatted a
bit but you had some girl over and so i said good night and i went to
my room. my heart was beating so fast but it would slow down and so i
was on the computer getting my sleep music ready and i put my computer
up on this very tall desk i had, i guess kind of like the tables in
your room and i put in my ear plugs and then i had a dream in the
dream about a friend of mine who is a helicopter pilot. he wrote me
three messages on facebook in my dream within a dream about these
movies. one had tom cruise and steve martin or ben stiller....and tom
hanks and they lived next door to one another in the movie trailer and
the xmas ornaments turned into guns and they were really deadly
neighbors and were getting ready to fight one another.

but it was marketed as a comedy

i don't remember the other two trailers.

but then your friend woke up and i saw you get up and she and you went
into the living room and i made myself busy to get up and see what you
were doing and i brushed my teeth and went back to bed.

once back in bed i dreamed of a big black man who i think or who i
guess starred in the show MASH or something old like that and he tried
to rape me in the dream and i couldn't get him off me.

then i was back at this house and you were back in bed and the lights
were off so i was changing my music and this same man came in my room
and i was there alone and he sauntered up to me and put his slimy
hands all over me and i couldnt get away from him at first and i kept
screaming corey corey at the top of my lungs. i managed to wiggle
away and ran for your room but you weren't in the bed. there was a
squirrel and a dog in your room and i thought that if i could somehow
keep hidden he wouldn't find me.

so i crumpled a lot of blankets and sheets on the floor and tried to
hit in the sheets but he came in and knew exactly where i was but then
something scared him off and he left the room really quickly. i
climbed in your bed and fell asleep.

i was in a room at one of the houses that was int eh dream in a dream
the tom hanks one. tom hanks gave tom cruise an airplane ticket for
some court date he had.

there were all these army guys there and actors and such but maybe
they were extras. i had all these military pins on my back pack. one
of the army guys looked at one and asked me where i go it and i said i
wasn't sure really and he said it was something i shouldn't have.

so then the slimy man came in the room and he was an actor and i
freaked and said he was a rapist and the cast just laughed and said
that there was no way he was a rapist.....and there was a woman at the
door leaving and she was there before she knew it was him that tried
to rape me and i tried so hard to get her to tell them so they would
believe me and eventually she broke down and told them and so we all
got guns and he came back in the room with a mask on and laughing and
a pistol. at this point everyone but me was out of the room to escape
and he was laughing and shot a couple rounds and said they were blanks
and that everyone could come back to the room.

but no one did and i kept trying to shoot him with my gun but my gun
wasn't working and so i was trying to hit in in the head and i got a
few good ones but hten he locked the door and came at me again and i
got a few more head hits before he smashed me on the head and then i
woke up wailing and crying.
